    Academic advisor

Lab introduction INJEM was certified as an Open Lab in the Southeastern region by the Ministry of Science and ICT in 2022. Our laboratory conducts research on developing predictive models for high-risk groups of geriatric diseases, such as dementia, Parkinson's disease, and depression. We use health and medical big data, including health insurance corporation data, community epidemiological data, and hospital clinical data (registry). Our programming languages include SAS, R, Python, JAVA, SQL, MediCalc, and Matlab. Since 2022, we have been conducting joint research with the Annaba Institute of Health and Environment in Algeria and Menupia Medical University in Egypt (Department of Community Medicine, Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine, and Department of Molecular Medicine), such as epidemiologic prediction algorithms and disease recognition research. In addition, since 2023, we have been conducting joint research with Haeundae Paik Hospital's neurology department on the theme of epilepsy prediction AI.
